Plié
A Movement Meditation on Clothing as Protection, Ritual, and Magic
Plié is a three-part dance film that moves through the meanings of clothing. In response to Lilia Yip’s fashion collection, “Soul of Things,” the film takes cues from the collection’s three key ideas – protection, ritual, and magic – and meditates on how these ideas resonate today.
